The rest of the class ((Presumably the boys preparing to study for the priesthood.)) were on ceremonies to-day, as this is the centenary of St. Vincent’s convent. They are in their hey-day, because they all have a great banquet, hear concerts and plays of all sorts, and get off school. The whole day was dreary and oppressive. Cycled to Arthur, and got 35 stamps! Am deeply in debt: I owe him 30. Got comp ‘If winter comes, can spring be far behind?’ done in good time, and I think, quite well. Sorted stamps and read 16 ‘Lands and Peoples’.
